The Wild & Scenic Film Festival puts our local work – and yours too – into the broader environmental and social context, and serves to remind us that we’re participants in a global movement for a more wild and scenic world.
Volunteer at a C4 Zero Waste Event
Leadville Race Series volunteers are the key to making these events environmentally sustainable. Since 2012 at Leadville Race Series Events, we have kept more than 80% of all trash out of the landfill through recycling, composting and outreach efforts. That’s over 30,000 pounds of waste diverted every year, 70,000 pounds of carbon reduced from our earth’s atmosphere and many natural resources saved! Help educate participants on how to recycle and compost. You will be placed at an aid station or at the start/finish to cheer racers on while providing a valuable service.
